Livestream commission. This mouse used to be an ordinary pet, as seen in the upper left corner. That all changed one night when the boy who owned him wished that his pet could be a true friend. The next morning, the boy woke up to find that his mouse had been transformed. He could now talk and walk on two legs. He still looked enough like a normal mouse to successfully play dumb when other humans were around. From there, the mouse helps his former owner whenever he can and goes on various adventures. By the way, I say "former owner" because thanks to his new intelligence, the boy and mouse are no longer "pet and master" but rather "friend and friend". Who knows? Maybe the mouse will find others like himself...
This drawing has an interesting has an interesting story behind it. This was originally going to be a TF sequence of the mouse turning into his anthro form. However, when I wanted to try out one of Betsy's character design sessions, I decided the backstory I had made for the TF would be good for this, so I filled in the commission form and the subject matter of the sequence changed to something else.
The reason he still has mouse eyes in anthro form is because I thought it would make his design less jarring if he were to interact with feral mice.
